Homeschool Memories


An astonishing number of my peers are plunging into the icy, scary waters of homeschooling. Many of them have expressed fears about whether they are smart enough, patient enough, determined enough or stern enough to teach their children at home. As a proud product of homeschool, let me speak truth into your daunting dreams.

Not only did my sisters and I all graduate high school and college with the top of our classes, but to this day we maintain thriving relationships with each other and our parents. Oh, and the precious memories!

…memories of white student furniture…matching flip-lid desks, shelves lined with paperbacks, spirals and art supplies

…memories of spelling bees, Spanish lessons, kitchen culinary experiments

…memories of math induced tears, tedious tests and celebrations of scores

…memories of favorite books, bug dissection, driver’s ed…
